We recommend a leotard and shorts for girls and a tight fitted vest for boys as it ensures your child is covered at all times, when they go upside down their t-shirts tend to fly over their heads or come up which makes it a bit tricky for them to see, and also when we are spotting them it’s much easier if they have leotards/vests on. They are welcome to wear t-shirts over the top of leotards too.

We also highly recommend either wearing leggings over the top for layering and to protect the legs in other aerial or leg warmers, as these can be pulled up over the knees when we do hoop. We all (adults included) find hoop hard on the backs of the knees so this really does help.
